I got this guitar and a cute lil fender amp for a sweet deal, especially since it was barely played by someone who wanted to start learning to play. I haven’t owned an electric guitar or even an amp since I was a teenager maybe, and I was so stoked to start using my RAT pedal from Jessup Amps that I bought at an Earth show! I even got it signed by Dylan Carlson at the show they did here in Yuma on their Blood Meridian tour. 😃

I decked the trem, down-tuned this bad boy to C, but left the stock 9s and even the learning stickers on it, hehe. I am having soooo much fun playing heavy, sludgy, doomy stuff, I feel like a teenager again 🙂 I am even gonna see sunn O))) next month in Phoenix!! I’m a little nervous because I read that their shows are incredibly loud, and my hearing is kind of sensitive right now, especially since I’ve been sitting in front of my amp while I’ve been playing (haha idk why though). I’ve had to start using earplugs while playing, making sure I sit in the opposite direction, and turn the volume lower.

I guess I was just really excited to be surrounded by noise again. 🥹 I’ll post some videos soon!
